A letter to your local MP letting them know you support poker machine reform will make a big difference.

Uniting Church Synod of Victoria and Tasmania postcard campaign
The Synod of Victoria and Tasmania has a postcard campaign so you can express your concern about gambling directly to the Prime Minister or the Leader of the Opposition.

Problem Gambling: Pokies, People and Public Policy
A public seminar run by the Gambling Impact Society (NSW). To be held at Wollongong University Innovation campus on May 17th. Guest Speakers include Senator Nick Xenophon, academic researchers from the University of Wollongong and Southern Cross University along with a range of interesting speakers on innovative programs addressing problem gambling.
Stop the Loss Coalition public awareness campaign
"Stop the Loss is a coalition of concerned community groups and individuals who want to give voice to the hundreds of thousands of victims of poker machine addiction, through seeing real and lasting reform of the poker machine industry."
Stop the Loss launched TV, radio and press ads at Parliament House on 29 February 2012. You can check them out on the Stop the Loss website or wach the TV ad here.
